Ros’ highly energetic, down to earth, yet knowledgeable and professional nature, is an attribute in any situation. She is punctual, reliable, well prepared, very structured in her approach and always provides feedback. She challenges the status quo in a non-threatening manner which creates a positive environment to generate ideas and identify priorities. She approached a new environment quickly, arranged meetings, assisted with problem solving, knew who to contact to assist our business, and immediately knew the correct fact-finding tactics to be able to properly familiarise herself with the environment and to enable herself to revert with a personalised and relevant solutions, both long and short-term which included alternative solutions. A holistic and detailed review was done, before identifying the gaps and the appropriate solutions that were required.

Ros encouraged the relevant department heads to be part of the process to ensure the recommended solution was best fitted practically and easy to transition into the current way of work. Her non-threatening manner enabled this transition. In addition to the original brief, she provided resource material to further equip the management team to a new way of thinking and working.

I met Ros in May 2000 as part of the Client Services team. What a gem and a bundle of enthusiasm …. and that is all you need to be successful.
She was one of the people that you could always rely on to get a difficult problem sorted. I did not know that she had left, and I had a difficult problem to solve. So, I e-mailed her. In true commitment to service delivery, she had a forwarding email to her private e-mail. MAGIC! What would most retirees do, “SORRY I RETIRED, I CANNOT HELP”. Not Ros. She resolved my problem as a retiree in no time. This is commitment to the BRAND and to making a difference in the lives of the sale force. Very few people can understand this. Ros does!!

Covid came with a lot of challenges, not only to the Sales Force, but also to the Client Services team. A couple of changes happened. The staff had to adapt to working from home. Over and above this the VOLUMES in all areas increased at a rapid rate. Hats off to all the people that adjusted! No one expected the rise in volumes of calls and claims.
It is in times like this that you need a Ros that can assist. Ever since Ros became involved in our Franchisee my “follow-up” folder stays empty. Although she retired, it is important that we keep talent like Ros active on our practices. She knows the industry well, understands the needs and the frustrations of the advisors, and knows who to contact in whatever situation.
